Short legged Svalbard Reindeer - digging for food. December - Longyearbyen - Svalbard - Spitsbergen. High Arctic. Interestingly an experiment importing Musk Oxen failed as the animals couldn’t survive as they could’t dig for food the same as Svalbard reindeer are able to.

Each “driver” will live locally in cabins (often without running water - showers in town twice week) and will look after 30 or so dogs.
