    Help Find Us a Home!

The Museum of Travel is looking for a permanent home - we are open to ideas? If you think you can help please do get in touch. You can find a rough description of what we are looking for in our section “About - then Projects” - which is linked at the top right of the screen.

We are open to ideas - collaborations.

Ideal would be an island - like the inner or outer Hebrides - the Clyde Isles - Orkneys or Shetlands, or the Argyle and Bute peninsular - but it could be anywhere!

It could be a city or urban landscape, and it doesn’t have to be in the UK we would love to hear of ideas from Scandinavia, New Zealand or similar places.

We are self funding for content and running, but we need help to find the right premises or location. We have limited funds to support the purchase of property if it includes owners accommodation.

Longer term we would like to donate The Travel Museum and its contents and property to the community via an appropriate mechanism - so that the collection can be enjoyed and added to for generations to come.
