About The Museum Rooms
Most items in the museum will fit in a suitcase, that or a backpack, because that’s how they got here! We are a Boutique Museum - small but perfectly formed.
You might have notice that we are a virtual museum, we only exist in cyberspace. We would love a physical presence, and if you think you can help have a look at out get involved section above.
When we have a home we will add some dioramas, such as dog sledding, camping and Tech Diving, as well as some larger object such as Motorbikes, 4x4, Dingy’s, Canoes and whatever else we can fit in!
The objects and artefacts are all real along with a 100,000 photographs and video clips, along with 100’s of travel documents, posters and art.
We will be adding a Boutique Cafe and a little shop - “Got to have a little shop” - so look out for it in the future. In the meantime enjoy - The Museum Curator.

These pages show perhaps 20% of our collection and there are lots of research items too includig dozens of maps, flight tickets, and oddities such as local driving licences, liquor licences, together with a small library of travel related books, mainly natural history and wildlife. In addtion we have hundreds of video clips and sound clips, as well as over 250,000 photgraphs and panoramas from every continent and corner of the globe. Photo’s include film, slides and black and white as well as digital images - capturing a unique moment moment in time not only in the history of travel, but of fashion, food and a world passed by.
