Around the World in 80 objects
Our homage to Phileas Fogg
Of Jules Vernes around the world in 80 days adventure, recently reimagined by the BBC Drama, and very well done too we feel. We have prior to this taken 80 of the museum objects and linked them in a rather different route around the world, capturing continents, countries and peoples around the globe.
Around The World with 40 Women
A combination of “Burkes Connections” and Jules Vernes around the World in 80 days - 40 influential women who have changed the face of history and the world. Some little known outside their countries, and others both cultural and global icons.
What links Pocahontas, with Queen Maria of Romania, Madam Curie of Poland, Boudica - Chieftain of the Iceni, and Florence Nightingale, to name but few with Queen Victoria? Curious? Keep watching.
